Sweet Earth Natural Foods, a vegetarian frozen food brand, was recently featured on Food Navigator after announcing it was on its way toward securing $20 million in revenue in 2016. Helmed by former Burger King executive Brian Swette, the California-based brand says the secret to its success is that rather than branding itself as a meat-alternative producer, it simply makes €œdelicious food that happens to contain no meat.€ €œA lot of our fans are often surprised when they find out that none of our products contain meat,€ executive Kelly Swette said. €œThey buy them because they love the products. Millennials want flavor-forward food that is fun and functional, so we want to take them on a culinary adventure.€ The company sells protein-rich vegan meals such as Bean & Mango Cubano bowls, Kyoto Stir Fry, and Moroccan Tagine at more than 10,000 stores including Target, Walmart, and Whole Foods Market.
