Six-part series benefitting the Vegan Iron Chef non-profit organization runs from July 24 to August 28.

The €œSummer of Brunch,€ a series of six vegan cooking events in Portland, OR, begins Sunday at the all-vegan bar Sweet Hereafter. This first event is already sold out, but tickets are still available for upcoming events at five other culinary hotspots throughout the city, including The Sudra, Casies Café, Of Roots and Blooms,Victoria Bar, and Nectar Café. In addition to plant-based breakfast and lunch items such as Chickin & Waffles, Coconut Pancakes with Pakora Battered Bananas, Tofu Scramble with Black Lentil Kofta, and Coconut-Cornflake French Toast, many participating eateries will also offer drink specials such as bottomless mimosas. Proceeds from the €œSummer of Brunch€ will support the non-profit Vegan Iron Chefs classes, events, and programming, and sponsors include Tofurky, Earth Balance, and NuCulture.
