Minneapolis-based vegan butcher shop The Herbivorous Butchercreated two six-foot vegan submarine sandwiches for musician and vegan activist Mobys book-signing event at Magers & Quinn bookstore. The two sandwiches€”Turkey and Camembert with Bacon Onion Jam and Chicken Caprese€”were made with the help of local bakery Breadsmith and were served to fans as they listened to excerpts from Mobys newly released memoirPorcelain. €œWe found Moby incredibly charming, humble, and funny, and we look forward to visiting his restaurant Little Pine when we travel to LA in June for Vegan Beer & Food Festival,€ the butchers said. The popular vegan shop recently taped anupcoming episode of Food Network’s hit show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, wherein host Guy Fieri praised the duo’s Italian cold-cuts sandwich, stating that it was €œgood even by a meat sandwich standard.€
