Vegan chef and restaurateur Chloe Coscarelli€”owner of acclaimed New York City vegan restaurant by CHLOE€”appeared on a recent segment of €œGarden on the Go€ on The Today Show. During the program, Coscarelli used produce from the White House garden to prepare a vegan pasta dish€”orecchiette in a no-cook sauce€”and potato skins with avocado salsa with television personality Matt Lauer. €œThis is a vegan recipe, and a lot of people think it has to be boring,€ Lauer said. €œIts not boring€”its delicious.€ A panel of three tasters also raved about Coscarellis recipes. Lauer directed a comment to one of the tasters, stating, €œYou just devoured a vegan recipe,€ to which she responded, €œI know, and I enjoyed it.€ Coscarelli€”who was named as one of Zagats 30 most influential entrepreneurs under 30€”previously appeared on the show in April, in which she made beet fettuccine Alfredo to similar praise.
