In order to meet demand from millennials who desire more plant-based options, Washington State University has hired vegan dietician Alice Ma to increase the quantity and quality of the schools cruelty-free offerings. €œIts a common stereotype that vegans are limited to just tofu and vegetables,€ Ma said, €œand having a variety of tasty and filling options can demonstrate just how possible it is to eat fewer animal products.€ WSU currently has a €œ75% Satisfied€ rating on Peta2s Vegan Report Card, which grades colleges on their vegan offerings, but will likely earn higher marks as a result of Mas efforts.
